Chetwynd, St Michael and All Angels
6 bells, tenor 6-3-22 in A TF10 8AB SJ 736213
Sunday: no regular ringing, check with church warden
All bells cast by Abraham Rudhall II in 1735. It was one of his last jobs as he died in 1736
An outside entrance at the south-west corner of the tower leads to a short stone spiral staircase and then a diagonal metal ladder up to a trapdoor. The ringing room is quite austere and the ringers of the treble and tenor may find themselves rather too closely acquainted with the clock.
Parking is on the side road to the west of the tower. No facilities are available in or near the church.
