6th Battalion, King's Shropshire Light Infantry,
killed in action on 30 November 1917, aged 24 years.
Born near Ellesmere, Shropshire, he was the son of William and Margaret Paddock of
Yew Trees, Bagley, Shropshire, and was a ringer at St Swithin, Clunbury.
